22 APC Governors Endorse Tinubu as Sole 2027 Presidential Candidate.

All 22 governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.

The endorsement was announced by Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Hope Uzodimma, during the APC National Summit held at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja. Themed *”Renewed Hope Agenda: The Journey So Far,”* the summit brought together party stakeholders from across the country.

Governor Uzodimma formally proposed Tinubu’s candidacy, with the motion seconded by PGF Vice Chairman and Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani. The motion was supported by a unanimous voice vote and standing ovation from attendees, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, National Assembly members, current and former governors, and APC members from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

This nationwide endorsement comes shortly after the APC’s Northwest faction publicly backed Tinubu, signaling a growing consensus within the party around his second-term bid.
