An event organized by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, in Zaria on Monday, Governor Uba Sani expressed confidence that the wave of defections from opposition parties to the All Progressives Congress (APC) signals a strong future for the party in Kaduna State.
He said, “APC will continue to dominate Kaduna. In a few months, the state will effectively become a one-party system.”
This comes amid political shifts in the state, including the defection of his estranged predecessor, former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, from the APC to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
During the event, Speaker Abbas donated 117 cars, 200 tricycles, and 1,000 motorcycles to beneficiaries.
