Man Utd Fans Frustrated as Sesko’s Limited Debut Ends in Arsenal Defeat

Benjamin Sesko’s debut performance for Manchester United against Arsenal has sparked strong reactions from fans, many of whom believe the outcome could have been different if he had started the match.

United manager Ruben Amorim began the game at Old Trafford with Mason Mount playing in a false nine role, leaving Sesko on the bench. The 22-year-old Slovenian striker, who recently joined from RB Leipzig, was introduced in the second half but saw little service from his teammates.

Supporters on social media expressed frustration, with many questioning why Sesko was not given a starting role. Some highlighted his movement off the ball and urged the team to create more chances for him. Others felt he needed more time on the pitch to settle into the game.

The match ended in disappointment for United after Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory. Riccardo Calafiori’s first-half header, following a set-piece, proved decisive as Mikel Arteta’s side held their lead until the final whistle.

United will look to bounce back in their next Premier League fixture on 24 August, when they travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham.
