Atiku’s Coalition Denies Adopting ADC for 2027 Elections.

The coalition led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has refuted claims that it has chosen the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its political platform for the 2027 general elections.

Salihu Moh. Lukman, a key figure in the coalition and former APC National Working Committee member, issued a statement in Abuja dismissing recent media reports as false and misleading.

Lukman also denied being appointed to lead the coalition’s secretariat, urging the public to ignore the claims. He clarified that the coalition has not made any formal decision regarding its platform for the upcoming elections.

Negotiations among coalition leaders are ongoing, and final decisions will be made soon,” he said, accusing certain individuals of spreading false information to create division within the group.

He called on the public and media to disregard the misleading reports.
