Dafinone Greets Christians at Easter, Urges Reflection on Christ’s Sacrifice.
As Easter is celebrated around the world, Senator Ede Dafinone has extended heartfelt wishes to Christians in Delta Central, Delta State, and across Nigeria. He encouraged believers to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and strive to live by His example.
In his Easter message, Senator Dafinone described the season as a time to remember the profound meaning of Christ’s death and resurrection—symbols of hope, redemption, and eternal life. He emphasized values such as love, humility, forgiveness, and selflessness, urging that Easter should be a time of spiritual renewal, not just celebration.
Easter reminds us of Christ’s ultimate act of love. His resurrection calls us to live in compassion, unity, and service, Dafinone said.
He called on all Nigerians to promote peace and understanding, regardless of ethnicity or religion. He expressed hope that the message of Easter would encourage greater unity and a renewed commitment to building a stronger nation.
