Manchester United Names Squad for ASEAN All-Stars Friendly.
Ruben Amorim has announced the
Manchester United lineup for their friendly match against the ASEAN All-Stars in Kuala Lumpur.
The game, which kicks off at 13:45 BST at Bukit Jalil Stadium, is part of the Maybank Challenge Cup and offers local fans a chance to see the team live. It will be broadcast on MUTV and is the first of two post-season matches, with another fixture set in Hong Kong, China, on Friday.
The starting XI features a mix of seasoned players and young talent. Andre Onana returns in goal after missing the final Premier League match against Aston Villa. Harry Maguire captains the team, supported in defense by young players Reece Munro and Ayden Heaven, who has recovered from a recent injury. Diogo Dalot, who was also rested in the last match, starts on the right.
In midfield, Manuel Ugarte makes a return alongside Casemiro. Jack Moorhouse, who impressed with the Under-21s this season, partners Academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo in supporting striker Rasmus Hojlund.
Seventeen players are listed as substitutes, though not all members of the travelling squad are expected to take part.
