Prince Akintoye Akinrinade, son of the former traditional ruler of Agbado in Ogun State, ha
s called on Muslims to reflect on the values of sacrifice, generosity, and unity as they celebrate this year’s Eid Mubarak.
In a statement released on Friday, Akinrinade emphasized that Eid is a time for compassion, reflection, and community spirit. He encouraged all to embody the spirit of the season by showing kindness and togetherness.
May this sacred celebration bring peace, joy, and abundant blessings to your homes and communities. May your prayers be answered and your sacrifices rewarded,” he said.
He also urged Muslims in Agbado to use the occasion to pray for the development and well-being of their community, Ogun State, and the nation as a whole.
I send my heartfelt greetings to all Muslim faithful in Agbado and beyond, wishing everyone a blessed and meaningful Eid celebration,” Akinrinade added.
