MUT Honors Speaker Chiroma A. Buba Mashio in Yobe State End-of-Year Party

Mdzough U Tiv (MUT), Yobe State Chapter, has honored Chiroma A. Buba Mashio, the Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, during its end-of-year party held in Damaturu.

Although the Speaker was unavoidably absent, he was duly represented by Hon. Buba Musa. The Speaker was decorated in Tiv attire as a mark of appreciation for his continuous support and cordial relationship with the Tiv community in Yobe State.

The leadership of MUT described the recognition as a gesture of unity, cultural pride, and strengthened collaboration between the Tiv community and key stakeholders across the state.

The event attracted dignitaries, community leaders, and members of the Tiv community who applauded the Speaker’s longstanding support and commitment to peaceful coexistence in Yobe State.
