NAPTIP Declares Speed Darlington Wanted Over Allegations of Rape and Cybercrimes.

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has declared Nigerian entertainer Darlington Okoye, widely known as Speed Darlington, wanted for alleged involvement in rape,

cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

This action follows his failure to respond to a summons issued after a viral Instagram video surfaced, in which he allegedly claimed to have had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl.

NAPTIP initially invited him to appear at its headquarters in Abuja on May 30, 2025, after sending a summons on May 28. Speed Darlington did not appear, citing prior engagements, and suggested an alternative date of June 26.

The agency rejected his proposed date due to the seriousness of the allegations and rescheduled the meeting to June 2, 2025. After he again failed to appear, NAPTIP officially declared him wanted.

The agency has urged anyone with information about his location to contact them through their hotline at 07030000203 or by email at info@naptip.gov.ng.
