NCPC Suspends Pilgrimages to Israel Amid Israel-Iran Conflict.
The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has announced a suspe
nsion of all pilgrimages to Israel until the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict is resolved.
Stephen Adegbite, Executive Secretary of the commission, made this statement through Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations. Adegbite clarified that no Nigerian pilgrims are currently in Israel.
He said, “Due to the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran since June 13, no Christian pilgrimages will take place in Israel until the situation stabilizes. The commission is closely monitoring developments.”
