Kayode Peters, a renowned Nigerian film and stage producer, has died in Canada. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

The news was co

nfirmed on Friday by comedian Steve Onu, also known as Yaw, who mentioned he was trying to contact Peters’ brother for more details.

Peters was well-known for his contributions to Nigerian theatre and television, having produced popular stage plays and sitcoms such as Extended Family and the early 2000s hit comedy Flatmates. He was recognized as a significant figure in Nigeria’s contemporary entertainment industry.
