1. The Senate leadership will accompany President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Benue State today to console the people of Yelewata village following t

he recent massacre by suspected herdsmen. Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, shared this update.

2. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has dispatched relief materials to support those displaced by the attacks, following a joint rapid assessment with Benue State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), the Nigerian Red Cross, and security agencies.

3. Lagos State Police are questioning Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock after a video showing him holding what appeared to be a pistol went viral on social media.
