Pastor Tobi Adegboyega Reveals Cancer Diagnosis, Donates £100,000 After Surgery.
Tobi Adegboyega, founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), now
known as The Nxtion Family, has revealed he is undergoing treatment for cancer.
The UK-based Nigerian pastor made the announcement in a pre-recorded message played for his congregation on Thursday. In the message, he disclosed that he had recently undergone major surgery related to the illness.
“I was diagnosed with cancer. Yes, you heard me right. I’ve been dealing with this for several months. I just had a major surgery, and that’s why I’m not physically present today,” he said. He added that he believes God has granted him “a new stage in life” following the ordeal.
Alongside his announcement, Adegboyega pledged a £100,000 donation to support cancer awareness and treatment, particularly for young people battling the disease.
The pastor is widely known for his bold, youth-centered ministry and lavish lifestyle, often attracting both support and criticism. His flashy image—marked by high-end fashion, luxury vehicles, and celebrity circles—has frequently sparked controversy.
In 2022, his church was shut down by UK authorities following a High Court ruling that cited financial mismanagement. Investigators found that the organization failed to properly account for over £1.87 million in expenditures.
Funeral plans have not been mentioned, but reactions to his announcement and donation are expected to follow.
