The Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has shared how Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, allegedly blocked his planned humanitarian visit to the state. According to a statement released on Monday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Kulas Tersoo, high-profile individuals were cautioned against entering the state without prior approval, citing security concerns.
The Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, also made it known that he was not expecting any notable visitors on that day (Monday), as he was occupied with important meetings involving key stakeholders to address pressing issues facing the state.
