Comments

When visitors leave comments on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comments form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible to the public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the Site, avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the Site can download and extract any location data from images hosted on the Site.

• If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.

• When you log in we set cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, screen options cookies last for one year. Selecting "Remember Me" keeps you logged in for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
• If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser that indicates the post ID you edited; it expires after one day and contains no personal data.

Articles on this Site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves the same as if you visited the other website directly.

Who we share your data with
