TV Host Frank Edoho Confirms End of Second Marriage.
Renowned Nigerian TV host Frank Edoho, best known for anchoring Who Wants to Be
a Millionaire, has confirmed the end of his second marriage to Sandra Onyenuchenuya.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, hosted by Taymesan, Edoho reflected on his marital journey. He shared that his first marriage to actress Katherine Obiang ended in 2011. He remarried in 2014, but that union has also come to an end.
Edoho said the breakdown of both marriages was due to a lack of deep compatibility, distinguishing between love and soul connection.
“I’ve been married twice. Maybe I’m not good at marriage,” he said. “The women I married weren’t my soulmates. The love of your life isn’t always your soulmate—your soulmate understands you even without words.”
He stressed that he made sincere efforts in both marriages but acknowledged that emotional compatibility was lacking.
“I gave everything I had. I could drop everything for my partner. But you can’t fault someone for falling out of love,” he added, referencing former footballer Kaka’s divorce despite being widely admired.
Edoho encouraged men to find happiness within themselves rather than relying solely on relationships for fulfillment.
“Don’t lose your identity just because you’re married. That’s what attracted your partner in the first place,” he said.
He also advised unmarried women nearing 40 not to feel pressured into marriage.
“Marriage isn’t mandatory. You might have the best intentions, but your partner could choose a different path.”
Edoho concluded by saying he has learned not to carry past experiences into new relationships and now approaches life with a more self-fulfilled perspective.
