Yahaya Bello Urges Unity, Peace During Easter Message.

Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has called on Christians to embrace and reflect the values of peace, compassion, and unity, emphasizing their importance in building a better society.

In his Easter message, delivered through his media aide, Mr. Ohiare Machael, Bello congratulated the Christian community on completing the 40-day Lenten period. He encouraged all Nigerians to allow the season’s values—love, sacrifice, and unity—to guide their actions.

He expressed optimism that the spirit of Easter would transcend religious and cultural lines, fostering peaceful coexistence across the country. Bello also praised the harmony among different religious groups in Kogi State and urged continued support for the administration of Governor Usman Ododo.

He emphasized the need for national cooperation and encouraged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating that it has made significant progress in improving the economy.

Bello concluded his message with prayers for peace, progress, and divine guidance for the nation and its leaders, while wishing Christians a joyful Easter celebration.
